TANGSEL - The police will summon the chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi and the management of the Eka Hospital BSD Hospital next week. This was done to find out the true incident based on Prasetyo Edi's report to the Serpong Police.

"Yes, that's right (we will call) next week," the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Serpong Police, Iptu Joko Aprianto, told VOI, Saturday, March 26.

Prasetyo reported the Eka Hospital BSD, South Tangerang to the Serpong Police on Saturday, March 19 evening. Prasetyo accused Eka Hospital BSD of providing services and forcing bill payments.

Joko admitted that his party was studying the case. "(The basis for reporting) is that we will be studying later, so we want to title (case) first," he added.

In this case, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi asked the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) to be involved. He encouraged the Ministry of Health to step in to oversee the performance of hospitals, both government-owned and private.

This statement was made after Prasetyo received unpleasant services from Eka Hospital BSD.

"The Ministry of Health should have stepped in to make people feel comfortable," said Prasetyo in his statement, Saturday, March 26.

This encouragement is also intended so that no more people get the same treatment.

Moreover, the Ministry of Health as the duty bearer was also asked to create a public complaint channel. Thus, arbitrary actions from hospitals and others can be directly monitored.

"As the government, the Ministry of Health must create a complaint channel or optimize the channel if it already exists. That way the public can easily submit complaints and suggestions," he said.

In fact, with the existence of a complaint channel, the Ministry of Health can also have a basis for providing witnesses to the hospital. With a note, the complaint was proven true.
