JAKARTA - Kelapa Gading Police Chief Commissioner Rio Mikael Tobing said the man with the initials EJZ (36) who died by suicide in a luxury apartment in North Jakarta had submitted a letter of resignation or resigned to the office where he worked.

The resignation letter was submitted because the victim was not comfortable with the environment in which he worked. EJZ even submitted several resignation letters before being found dead at Grand Emerald Kelapa Gading.

"We also got facts after we checked with his co-workers, the victim felt uncomfortable in her work environment, so she applied for resignation several times," said Kompol Rio when confirmed, Saturday, March 26.

In the midst of his decision to resign, the victim also gave recommendations to his work colleagues. EJZ suggested that his colleagues immediately move from the private company located in Pegangsaan 2, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

Police said EJZ died due to depression facing his work environment. Before deciding to commit suicide, EJZ left a will for his wife. The police found the will while investigating the crime scene (TKP).

"When we processed the crime scene, we found that there was a file. Where this file was stored in a brown envelope, yesterday, during an examination with his wife," Kompol Rio explained to the media crew, Friday, March 25.

After the brown envelope was opened, inside was a will written by the victim. According to the police, the will bears the victim's ATM pin, along with the victim's internet banking account and password.
