JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has finished investigating the Democratic politician, Nur Afifah Balqis, regarding allegations of bribery in the procurement of goods and services, as well as permits that took place in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

During the examination, KPK investigators studied the role of Nur Afifah Balqis, who was actively assisting the suspect, Abdul Gafur Mas'ud.

"It is suspected that there are various assets belonging to the suspect AGM which are in the name of certain parties," he said.

Then, investigators also examined the Director of PT. Harapan Bersama Pasir Quarsa and PT. Prima Surya Silica, Amatdin Tamin. He was asked for information regarding the granting of a mining permit from the suspect Abdul Gafur Mas'ud.

"The investigation is related to the granting and approval of mining activity permits for witness companies issued by the suspect AGM," said Ali.

The KPK appointed Abdul Gafur with the Acting Secretary of the North Penajam Paser Regency, Mulyadi; Head of Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning of North Penajam Paser Regency Edi Hasmoro; and Head of the North Penajam Paser District Education, Youth and Sports Office, Jusman, and the Balikpapan Democratic Party DPC General Treasurer, Nur Afifah Balqis as bribe recipients.

Meanwhile, as a suspect for giving bribes, the KPK has named a private party named Achmad Zudi. These six people have been named as suspects in alleged bribery in the procurement of goods and services as well as granting permits in North Penajam Paser Regency.
