JAKARTA - After the operation of the Cikuray train (KA) route Garut - Pasar Senen PP was inaugurated, the public can use the Cikuray train service from Pasar Senen Station today.

The Cikuray train will stop serving up and down passengers at several stations in the Daop 1 area of Jakarta, including Bekasi, Karawang and Cikampek stations.

Head of Public Relations Daop 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa in a written statement, Friday, March 25, explained that people who will travel using the Cikuray train can order tickets through the KAI Access application, the kai.id website, station counters, and other official KAI ticket sales channels.

Cikuray train uses a Public Service Obligation (PSO) tariff of Rp. 45,000 for the Garut - Pasar Senen PP route.

Cikuray Train is a long-distance train consisting of 7 economy trains with a total capacity of 560 seats. Cikuray train has 2 departure schedules, namely:

1. KA 7047 Relation Garut - Pasarsenen departs Garut at 07.05 WIB and arrives at Pasar Senen at 13.32 WIB

2. KA 7048 Relation Pasarsenen - Garut departs Pasarsenen at 17.55 WIB and arrives at Garut at 00.53 WIB

According to the Decree of the Ministry of Transportation Number 25 of 2022, long-distance train customers who have received the second (complete) or third (booster) dose of vaccination are not required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR or Antigen Rapid Test during the boarding process.

The following are the complete requirements for traveling using long-distance trains:

1. Customers have been vaccinated against COVID-19 at least the 2nd dose

2. A certificate of negative Rapid Test Antigen results a maximum of 1x24 hours or RT-PCR 3x24 hours before the scheduled departure for customers with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and customers who are not/not vaccinated for medical reasons as evidenced by a certificate from a government hospital.

3. Customers under the age of 6 years are required to be accompanied by their parents and apply strict health protocols.

Customers are required to wear masks, wash hands with soap in running water, maintain distance, stay away from crowds, reduce mobility, avoid eating together, and use hand sanitizer. Customers must be in good health (not suffering from flu, colds, coughs, loss of smell, diarrhea, and fever), and body temperature not more than 37.3 degrees Celsius.

Customers must also wear a 3-ply cloth mask or a medical mask that covers the nose and mouth. Customers are also not allowed to talk one-way or two-way by telephone or in person throughout the journey.

For Covid-19 screening services, PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta still provides antigen services in collaboration with RNI at Gambir Station with service hours at 06.00 WIB - 22.00 WIB and at Pasarsenen Station at 05.00 WIB - 22.00 WIB.
