JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, stepped in when PSI criticized the leadership of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.

PSI said that Jakarta had almost no development progress in the hands of Anies, even though the program was only like cosmetics that only polished infrastructure.

Riza emphasized that all DKI Provincial Government programs were planned together from the development planning deliberation (musrembang) and were even discussed in the DPRD in the budgeting process.

"All programs are planned together. There is a program, there is a vision and mission, there is a study, there is a budget, there is also a form, and the budget is examined," said Riza at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Friday, March 25.

Riza also exhibited a number of developments created by Anies' leadership, ranging from the Jakarta International Stadium, the revitalization of Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), the revitalization of the pedestrian bridge (JPO), and dredging of reservoirs to rivers.

In fact, Riza also mentioned the unqualified predicate (WTP) by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) which was achieved from 2018 to 2021.

"Alhamdulillah, DKI has four WTP times. It means that the accountability is very good. We have achievements in terms of budget reporting accountability and other achievements, namely that our products can be seen all," he asserted.

Riza invited PSI to criticize the performance of the DKI Provincial Government while Anies was in charge. However, Riza believes that the public can judge for themselves how the development of Jakarta in the Anies era will be.

"People who judge, know, what has changed in Jakarta. Please go around Jakarta. In cities, villages, everything has significant changes," he said.

Previously, Member of the PSI faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, William Aditya Sarana, assessed that the construction of Jakarta had been in office for almost five years. According to William, the development program that Anies has so far has almost no progress.

"Jakarta has not experienced significant progress. In fact, it can be said that there is almost no progress. If I have seen it for about 5 years, this is cosmetic," said William.

What can be seen, for William, is that Anies is only polishing the infrastructure to cover other unfinished work.

"So, there are many things that are cosmetic in nature, look beautiful, there are achievements, but actually they cover up the insignificant progress," he continued.
