Ganjar Invites Officials To Sell UMKM Parcels: Not To The Supervisor But To The Motorcycle Guard Or Toilet Guard

SEMARANG - Ahead of Ramadan and Eid, the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, invited his staff to produce parcels made by SMEs. He also invited officials to compete in awarding parcels but not to superiors.

Ganjar asked for the parcel gifts to be given to the workers and the underprivileged people who had been helping the organization.

This was said by Ganjar, when launching the 2022 MSME parcel sales movement, at the Gumaya Hotel, as in his statement, Wednesday, March 23.

This movement started from an effort during the Covid-19 Pandemic, to move the economy of small entrepreneurs engaged in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

"Hopefully this action can help residents with sincerity, of course, can increase synergies to improve our economy," said Ganjar again.

He underlined that the provision of parcels should not be a form of gratification. Therefore, he requested that the parcel be given to the poor.

"Come on, let's have our sustenance to buy (UMKM parcels). If there are rules, I don't allow giving parcels to officials above, this can't be gratification. Give it to those who need it. Love the workers, give our motorbike guards, who guard the door, take care of the toilet, those who clean it who pay attention," said Ganjar in his speech.

Head of the Central Java UKM Dinkop, Ema Rachmawati, said that the sales of MSME parcels in 2021 amounted to IDR 2,014,809,600.

Therefore, he believes with careful preparation, this year's sales of MSME parcels will exceed this value. Later, the SME Cooperatives Office of Central Java Province will coordinate with the Souvenir Entrepreneurs Association (ASPO), as an anchor for MSME products.

"So, the provincial government will cooperate with ASPO. Later, the food that has been curated and then purchased will be cut off by the association. In the district too, entrepreneurs can also enjoy the proceeds from the sale directly," he explained.

This year, his party also cooperates with local marketplace Blibli, to distribute parcels. It is based on experience, in 2021 there will be many enthusiasts from outside Central Java who want to buy MSME parcel products.

However, due to the absence of a fleet of orders from the general public, it is difficult to deliver.

Regarding parcel packages, Ema said there were four types, namely Khalas for Rp. 200 thousand, Sukkari at Rp. 300 thousand, Medjool at Rp. 400 thousand and Ajwa at Rp. 500 thousand. In addition, there are also packages in certain districts that are sold starting at Rp. 75 thousand.

Therefore, he invites government agencies, BUMN/BUMD and the second level of government to participate. Meanwhile, the parcel package bidding process will start from March 22 to April 1, 2022. Followed by a recapitulation of orders on April 4 and distribution on April 25-27 2022.
