Riau Governor Asks Menparekraf Sandiaga To Open Pekanbaru-Malaysia Entrance

PEKANBARU - Riau Governor, Syamsuar asked the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), Sandiaga S Uno to help open the entrance for tourists from Sultan Syarif Kasim International Airport (SSK) II Pekanbaru to Malaysia.

"Because Malaysia on April 1, 2022 has opened the entrance between countries. So actually the Malaysian side can't wait to go to Riau. So we ask the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy to also open the entrance to the International Airport in Pekanbaru," he said in Pekanbaru. quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 23.

Responding to the request of the Governor of Riau, Menparekraf Sandiaga S Uno will try to open the entrance for foreign tourists through Pekanbaru's SSK II International Airport.
