The Mother Who Cut Her Daughter's Neck Until She Died, Her Speech Was Disorganized And Unclear When Examined By The Police

BREBES – Brebes Police Polda Central Java has determined KU (40), a housewife in Tonjong Brebes sub-district for a case of abuse that caused her second child, the initials ARK (7) to die horribly with slashes to the neck.

The Head of the Brebes Police AKBP Faisal Febrianto said that his party would conduct a mental examination of the perpetrator at Dr Soeselo Hospital, Tegal Regency.

"The perpetrator was taken to the hospital a few days ago for a mental examination. When he was interrogated his answers changed and he seemed to be disoriented," said Brebes Police Chief AKBP Faisal Febrianto, Tuesday, March 22.

Previously, the Police Chief had also confirmed that his party had conducted initial interrogations of witnesses related to the horrific incident.

Faisal said that KU's motive for committing acts of persecution by slashing the throats of three of their children was because they felt that they had received supernatural promptings.

"The perpetrator admitted during the initial examination that his actions were carried out because he was prompted to kill his son because if he was not killed his life would be difficult," explained Faisal.

Regarding the crime committed by KU, the police confiscated evidence in the form of bed linen, pillows and clothes of the victim as well as a cutter knife which was allegedly used to injure the victim.

Previously, it was reported that a mother with the initials KU in Brebes Regency, Central Java slit the throat of her 7-year-old son. The mother did this in front of her two underage children in the room of a house in Tonjong Village, Tonjong District, Brebes Regency, Sunday, March 20, at around 05.00 WIB.

As a result of KU's actions, a 7-year-old girl with the initials ARK could not be saved due to serious neck injuries. Meanwhile, his two other children were taken to hospital for intensive care due to knife wounds.

"Meanwhile, his 2 children who were treated at the hospital in Purwokerto experienced severe trauma and we have coordinated with psychologists from the Regional Police and Headquarters to provide assistance in providing trauma healing," added the Chief of Police.

Because of his actions, KU was threatened with sanctions according to the Child Protection Act with a penalty of 20 years in prison.
