Cockfighting Gambling In Situbondo, 4 People Arrested By Police

SITUBONDO - The Situbondo Police Team, East Java revealed that cockfighting gambling was located in Kendit Village/District, Situbondo Regency.

There were 4 perpetrators arrested. The four initials were HW, SF, SL and SG. Four people. This is a resident of Kendit District.

Head of Public Relations of the Situbondo Police, Iptu Achmad Sutrisno, said that the cockfighting gambling took place in the residents' yards, Monday, March 21.

"In this raid, we arrested 4 people," he said.

In addition to the four perpetrators, the police also secured a number of evidences including chicken cages, 4 iron measuring 1 meter, 5 cellphones, one cloth and shipyard carpet, 6 chicken stories, 7 roosters, 1 gold bracelet, 1 black bag. and 1 envelope containing Rp 200 thousand in cash and Rp 5,863,000 in cash, 1 wall clock.

For further investigation, the four alleged perpetrators and the evidence have been taken to the Situbondo Police Headquarters.

"The alleged perpetrators are threatened with Article 303 paragraph 1 to 2 of the Criminal Code, from the results of the case carried out by officers, the four cockfighting gamblers have been named suspects, currently they have been detained in the cell room of the Situbondo Police Headquarters," he said.
