JAKARTA - Citra Institute Senior Researcher Yusa Farchan assesses that Sandiaga Uno will follow the decision of the Gerindra Party regarding the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"After all, Sandiaga's profile, character, flight time, and political experience have been shaped and contributed by the Gerindra Party. I think Sandiaga will realize his position and obey the party's decisions," Yusa said in a written statement quoted by Antara, Monday, March 21. .

He emphasized that Sandiaga's position as Deputy Chair of the Gerindra Party's DPP Advisory Board and Prabowo Subianto's golden son (General Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP) would certainly be bound by ethical commitment and structural loyalty to the Gerindra Party's decision.

Yusa said that regarding the 2024 presidential election, Sandiaga Uno would follow the decision of the Gerindra Party which is predicted to continue to carry Prabowo as the 2024 presidential candidate.

Previously, the Secretary General of the Gerindra Party DPP Ahmad Muzani believed that the Deputy Chair of the Gerindra Board of Trustees, Sandiaga Uno, was loyal to the party and the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto.

"Pak Sandiaga's loyalty to Pak Prabowo is very high. He is a loyal cadre because of that Pak Prabowo loves him, Pak Sandiaga knows that," said Muzani.

He believes that Sandiaga's commitment is the same as all other Gerindra Party cadres, namely that he is determined to win Gerindra and Prabowo in the 2024 Election.

Muzani said that if Sandiaga went to various places to build self-image, it was done for Gerindra and Prabowo Subianto.

"That's why we feel happy and happy, Mr. Sandi is enthusiastic in our struggle," he said.
