JAKARTA - Avoiding the cross-jaya operation, a number of drivers are desperate to go against the road. A motorcyclist carrying a garbage cart also went in the opposite direction just to avoid being checked by officers. The Lintas Jaya raid was held on Jalan RS Sukanto, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Monday (21/3). Some riders without wearing helmets also turned the vehicle around to endanger other motorists. However, a number of violators who did not wear helmets until their vehicles were not equipped with headlights were given a warning and a ticket. A total of fifty violators were punished with fines.
