BREBES – Tragically, a mother with the initials KU in Brebes Regency, Central Java slit the throat of her 7-year-old son. Even more terrifying, the mother did it in front of her two other children, in the room of a house in Tonjong Village, Tonjong District, Brebes Regency, Sunday, March 20, at around 05.00 WIB.

As a result of KU's actions, one of KU's daughters with the initials ARK could not be saved due to a serious neck wound. The other two children were taken to hospital for intensive treatment for knife wounds.

Brebes Police Chief AKBP Faisal Febrianto confirmed the incident and stated that KU has now been secured at the Brebes Police Headquarters.

"Personnel from the local police together with the residents arrested the person concerned this morning. Police officers then immediately rolled out, currently the perpetrator has been detained at the Police Headquarters and undergoing examination," said the Chief of Police.

Based on information from the Central Java Police, two other KU children, namely KSZ (10) and EM (5) suffered injuries due to what their mother did in a locked room. The terrible thing is, the mother slit her child's throat in front of her two children.

"One child died from injuries to the neck, while the other two were rescued despite having cuts in the same area. Two survivors were taken to the Siti Aminah Bumiayu hospital for treatment," he added.

So far, the police chief continued, the police have examined three witnesses related to the incident. According to a source who did not want to be named, when the bedroom door was broken open, the perpetrator was pensive when he saw his daughter who was already covered in blood.
