JAKARTA - The Polda Metro Jaya has denied Haris Azhar's allegations regarding the handling and determination of the suspect in the alleged defamation case against Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan which has political elements.

"If we look at the implementation of the TSK, it is not in a hurry. The time for the determination of the TSK is almost 5 months, so it will take investigators a long time to study this case," he said.

In fact, investigators have also attempted to mediate in resolving cases. It's just that the reported party and the complainant often do not attend the restorative justice effort.

"Investigators actually prioritize restorative justice to open up space for mediation," said Zulpan.

Haris Azhar said that the handling and determination of the alleged defamation case against Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan was political.
