JAKARTA - National Police Chief Gen. Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo inspected the 91 Command Centers in Bali, Saturday, to ensure that all international activities to be held in Bali Province, such as the G20 Summit, can run well and optimally.

"Just now, we carried out checks on the 91 Command Center post which is prepared to deal with various international activities. Among them are a series of events in the context of the G20 Presidency," Sigit said in a statement received by Antara in Jakarta, Saturday.

Furthermore, he said the 91 Command Center is one of the command posts to monitor all security activities carried out, both in ring I, ring II, and ring III.

Sigit explained that the 91 Command Centers will be connected to 1,400 CCTV or monitoring cameras in the Bali area, even later they will also be connected to all personnel in charge of security.

"Thus, this command post can communicate when needed to carry out activities in the field. If there are problems, threats, or disturbances in the field that require rapid personnel movement, instructions related to this can be given from this command post," said Sigit.

Currently, Sigit said, the 91 Command Center is constantly evaluating to provide assurance that security and safeguards for all international activities can run smoothly without interruption.

According to him, the successful implementation of good and safe international activities in the country will make Indonesia proud and increase the world's trust in Indonesia.

"Of course, there are several features that we continue to complete. We are preparing these features so that security related to a series of international activities until the G20 Presidency can run safely, smoothly, well, and make Indonesia proud," said Sigit.

Not only connected in Bali, Sigit said that the 91 Command Centers were also connected to the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) area, especially the Mandalika Circuit which held the Mandalika MotoGP event.

In fact, the command center is also connected at the level of the National Police Headquarters.

"This is a series of surveillance, a monitoring system, and the movement of forces in layers, starting from which ones must be decided by the Polres level, which ones are in the ring, which are carried out by the Regional Police, and which ones are taken over by the National Police Headquarters. I think this is what we are preparing. We will continue to evaluate for improvements in security," said National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
