JAKARTA - The Presidential Staff Office (KSP) ensures that the stock and distribution of cooking oil in the market will always be available so that people do not need to panic.
"People don't panic and don't need to worry. The government ensures that the availability of cooking oil in the market is safely controlled. According to Bustanul Arifin, the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Industry have also secured the stock and distribution of cooking oil so that it is always available to the public.
KSP again conveyed the government's policy that subsidies have been imposed for bulk cooking oil so that the price charged to the public is Rp. 14,000 per liter.
"Meanwhile, packaged cooking oil without subsidies is widely available in minimarkets, supermarkets or modern markets," said Bustanul Arifin.
The Indonesian National Police (Polri) previously stated that they were ready to oversee the distribution and availability of subsidized cooking oil in the market after the implementation of the highest retail price (HET) for bulk cooking oil of Rp. 14,000 per liter.
