MEDAN - Police officers arrested a dealer of methamphetamine in a school in the Balige sub-district, Toba district, North Sumatra.

"The perpetrator who was arrested has the initials D, a resident of Rantauprapat, Labuhanbatu Regency," said Head of the Public Relations Sub-Division of the Toba Police, Iptu Bungaran, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 15.

Officers confiscated evidence in the form of a large package of methamphetamine, money from the sale of Rp. 1.1 million and one mobile phone unit.

The officers then took the suspect along with the evidence to the Toba Police Headquarters for further legal proceedings.

"Suspect D is subject to Article 114 paragraph (1) subs Article 112 paragraph (1) and Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics," he said.
