Cases Of Death Due To COVID-19 In North Sulawesi Increase By 4 People, 3 Of Them Comorbid And Unvaccinated

MANADO - The number of people from North Sulawesi (Sulut) who died from being positive for COVID-19 continues to increase. As of Tuesday, March 15, there were 4 more cases, bringing the total to 1,153.

"Today, four more deaths have been reported," said Head of the P2P Division of the North Sulawesi Provincial Health Office, Steaven P. Dandel in Manado as quoted by Antara.

The four deaths were number 38,797, male, aged 69 years who came from Minahasa Regency. The patient died at the hospital in Tomohon with co-morbidities of kidney failure and hypertension and had not been vaccinated.

Next, case number 50,796, a male, aged 83 years, also from Minahasa Regency, died at the hospital in Bitung with co-morbidities of kidney failure and hypertension and had not been vaccinated.

The third case, registration number 50,852, a 67-year-old woman from North Minahasa Regency who was declared dead at a hospital in North Minahasa, on March 15, 2022, with decreased consciousness and heart disease (already vaccinated with the first dose).

While the latest death case numbered 50,875, a 37-year-old woman also from North Minahasa Regency, died at the Airmadidi Hospital on March 11, 2022 with electrolyte balance disorders and comorbidities with kidney failure (not vaccinated).

"There are currently 50,920 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 after 67 new cases were added," he said.

The recovered cases accumulated as many as 47,660 people, an increase of 539 people with a cure rate of 93.6 percent.

Meanwhile, active cases that are still isolated in hospitals or in self-isolation are 2,107 people or 4.1 percent.
