The Terrorist Arrested In Tangerang Turns Out To Be A Machine Tool Analysis Staff At The Tangerang Regency Agriculture Service

TANGERANG REGENCY – The suspected terrorist arrested by the Densus 88 Team in the East Sepatan area, Tangerang Regency is a Civil Servant (PNS) at the Tangerang Regency Agriculture Service.

The Head of the Tangerang Regency Agriculture Office, Azis Gunawan, said that the TO (suspected) worked as an agricultural machine tool analysis staff. In fact, the perpetrator has been working for more than 10 years.

"Yes, that's right, (TO) staff analyzes agricultural machine tools. Already from CPNS at the Agriculture Service for about ten years or so. Indeed, he graduated from agriculture from Unila," Aziz said when confirmed, Tuesday, March 15.

Azis admitted that he got the information about the arrest from the wife of the perpetrator. She recounted that her husband had been secured after the Fajr prayer at the mosque near his house.

"It was his wife who told me over the phone that after returning from the mosque, he did not return home after the Fajr prayer," he said.

"Then, soon, the authorities, Densus, went to his family's house, saying that (TO) was secured," he added.

Hearing this, Azis admitted that he was surprised. Everyday, TO is rated good.

"I myself was also quite surprised at first, yes. At first this person had a good temper. He had the ability as an employee. There were no signs of being suspected (terrorists)," he said.

Previously reported, the Densus 88 Team arrested a terrorism suspect with the initials TO in the Sepatan area, Tangerang. He is a member of the Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) group.

"Catch one person who is the target of the terrorist group Jamaah Islamiyah," said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan in his statement, Tuesday, March 15.

The arrest of TO took place this morning, precisely at Samawa Village Housing, Jatimulya, Sepatan, Tangerang. However, it has not been further detailed regarding the evidence that was also secured during the arrest process.
