JAKARTA - Residents of Kampung Akuarium, North Jakarta, only distributed land for the new state capital (IKN) in East Kalimantan.

"Kampung Aquarium only distributes land," said Head of the Neighborhood Association 012/RW04, Penjaringan Sub-district, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Topas Juanda in North Jakarta as reported by Antara, Monday, March 14.

According to Topas, protocol for the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, called at night to inform him that the land from the Aquarium Village would be brought to the new IKN zero point in East Kalimantan representing the DKI Jakarta Province.

"Earlier, I was also surprised, protocol called that night, he said representing DKI Jakarta, the land for governors throughout Indonesia, taking the land from the Aquarium Village," said Topas.

Topas suspects that the election of Kampung Akuarium cannot be separated from the history of the struggle of the residents there to get their rights back after being evicted during the reign of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok).

"Perhaps there is an important meaning, namely from being evicted and being rebuilt (Kampung Akuarium)," said Topas.

Meanwhile, the source of the water that Anies brought to the zero point of the new IKN is still unknown.

North Jakarta Mayor Ali Maulana Hakim, when contacted, still did not provide any information regarding the origin of the water which has now merged into the container called Kendi Nusantara.

Meanwhile, the Governor of East Kalimantan, Isran Noor, considers that the process of unifying land and water that was brought by all governors in Indonesia to the zero point of the Nusantara Capital in East Kalimantan, will be a historic moment that will always be remembered by future generations.

"All governors, all regions gather and unite the lands in this Indonesian territory.
