JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria responded to criticism about DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan who brought land from the Aquarium Village to the National Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago.

This criticism was made by the chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI DPRD, Gembong Warsono. Gembong assessed that Anies should not choose Kampung Akuarium, whose land has been problematic since the days of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) as Governor of DKI. However, Riza emphasized that Anies' decision should not be fussed over.

"There's no need to link them up, okay? It's the same. All land, even if it's in the Aquarium Village, we want Jakarta residents to have the opportunity to live more properly, better, including the Aquarium Village," said Riza when met at the DKI DPRD Building, Monday. , March 14.

Moreover, according to Riza, Anies also did not intend to discriminate between his actions and those of the previous governor. Therefore, he asked all parties not to do that.

"We don't have to contradict, let alone confront the leaders. Don't be dichotomized. All leaders are good, right. Mr. Anies, Mr. Sandi, Mr. Ahok, Mr. Djarot, Mr. Fauzi Bowo, Bang Yos (Sutiyoso) are good. All have good intentions to build Jakarta," said Riza.

Previously, the chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI DPRD, Gembong Warsono, considered that the land that Anies had taken in Kampung Akarium was inappropriate. This is because, said Gembong, Anies' settlement program for the Aquarium Village settlement only seems to be in favor of the small people.

However, there is a problem behind it. Gembong said, the construction of flats in the Aquarium Village is Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2014 concerning Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR) and Zoning.

According to the regulation, the Kampung Aquarium area is located on the red zone or government zone. After all, there were found historic buildings. Therefore, Gembong assessed that the government zone should not be built for settlements given the findings of historical buildings there.

"In the past it was a residential area, evictions were carried out and returned to its original function, namely for heritage. Now, it has been transformed back into a residence in the hope that Anies will take sides with the people, as if he is taking sides, but violates the rules," said Gembong when contacted.

Therefore, Gembong hopes that the polemics that occurred in the Aquarium Village during Anies' leadership in Jakarta will not occur during the IKN development later.

"Don't let IKN get carried away with psychology like that, as if taking sides but violating the rules, you can't. IKN should not bring psychological factors like that," said Gembong.
