JAKARTA - The Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas, Suharso Monoarfo, who was staying with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in the Kilometer Zero Point Area of the National Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago, showcased the contents of the tent he was occupying.

He uploaded this to his official Instagram account, @suharsomonoarfa on Monday, March 14. He pointed out a number of things including there was a queen size bed.

"This is my glamping bed. This is my room," said Suharso in the upload, highlighting the contents of the tent he was occupying.

"It turns out that there is electricity, that's cool," he added.

Furthermore, Suharso also showed the emergency bathroom where he was staying. From the video, there is a toilet seat, shower, and bucket.

"There is a bathroom in glamping, emergency but okay. There is a bucket, there is a lamp. Made of wood," he said, highlighting a number of facilities.

Regarding the use of this shower, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono said this was done to save water.

"If you use a dipper, it's wasteful. The shower will save water because water is limited. If you use five scoops, a shower is enough, it's a shower. But if the dipper can be in one bucket, one person is roughly like that," he said.

The number of bathrooms provided in the camping area is six units that will be used for 30 people. The bathroom will also be used by President Jokowi later.

"That's right (President Jokowi will also use it, ed). It's just a separate place. Only three to six meters different," explained Heru.

"There are only 6 bathrooms for 30 people," he added.

As previously reported, President Jokowi and his entourage and the first lady, Iriana, stayed overnight at the IKN Nusantara area. They will later discuss about the new capital city.

A number of preparations have been made, including fogging or smoking as well as spreading salt to prevent the entry of reptiles into the tent.

"We have spread salt around the tents, especially around VVIP, and so on to anticipate the presence of reptiles," said Commander of Paspampres Major General TNI Tri Budi Utomo, quoted from the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube.

"And we have prepared anti-snake venom that will be useful. However, hopefully it will not be used and we are all safe," he concluded.
