Even Though They Are At Peace, The Motorbike Rider Who Hit 2 Children In Pangandaran Is Still Being Processed By Law

BANDUNG - The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo, confirmed that his party was still processing the criminal suspicion of the deaths of two twins as a result of being hit by a motorcyclist in Pangandaran Regency, West Java, even though there had been peace between the motorbike rider and the victim's family.

According to Ibrahim, the peace made between the motorbike rider and the victim's family does not necessarily abort a criminal process that has occurred.

"In this case, we remain consistent in carrying out the investigation process until the completion of the case file," said Ibrahim in Bandung, West Java, as reported by Antara, Monday, March 14.

Ibrahim assessed that the peace agreement between the motorbike riders and the families of the victims was part of the humanitarian steps taken by the two motorbike riders.

"Usually, it is only used as material for consideration in the court process later," he said.

There was also the incident of two children who were hit by two motorbike drivers with the initials AN and AG, which occurred on Saturday (12/3) on Jalan Raya Kalipucang, Pangandaran Regency, West Java.

The two twins, Hasan and Husen, were 8 years old, said Ibrahim, initially walking on the side of the road. Then one of the twins crossed the road, but was hit by one of the motorbike riders.

"And another brother or sister came to help, suddenly another motorbike came crashing down, and both of them died on the spot," he said.

Based on the information he received, according to him, the two motorbike riders were left behind from his group's convoy which was on its way to Pangandaran Beach.
