JAKARTA - Nahas, a PPSU officer from Sunter Agung Village, was found dead floating in the Salam Bridge River, Sunter Aicon, Sunter Agung Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Sunday, March 13, morning.

The victim is known to be a resident on Jalan Ancol Selatan, Sunter Agung Village, Tanjung Priok.

Tanjung Priok Police Chief Commissioner Ricky Pranata Vivaldy confirmed the discovery of a man's body floating in the Salam Bridge River, Sunter Aicon. The victim has the initials EM (54) from Ngawi.

"According to eyewitness accounts, the victim has not returned to her home since last Friday, March 12," he told reporters, Sunday, March 13.

In addition, from the testimony of another victim's colleague, it is known that the victim has not been absent from work since a few days ago.

"The victim was not absent from work. When it was discovered that the victim had died, she drowned in the Sunter Aicon, Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok rivers," he said. Currently, the Tanjung Priok Police are still examining a number of witnesses.

"One witness with the initials HW was questioned. The victim's body has been taken to Kramat Jati Hospital," he said.

It is not known with certainty the cause of death of the victim. Currently, the police are still conducting investigations to find out. "The case is under investigation," he said.
