Pangkostrad Maruli Simanjuntak Visits Brigif 06 Sukoharjo Headquarters

JAKARTA - The Commander of the Army Strategic Command (Pangkostrad) Lt. Gen. Maruli Simanjuntak made a working visit to the Infantry Brigadier Headquarters (Brigif) 06/Trisakti Balajaya in Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java. This visit is to check the constraints as an evaluation material.

"I think this work is a priority to see to what extent the units below can carry out their duties as well as possible," said the Kostrad Commander at Brigif 06/Trisaksi Balajaya Sukoharjo Headquarters, Antara, Friday, March 11.

According to the Pangkostrad, either the results of the report or the findings during this visit will be recorded as material for evaluating improvements.

The Pangkostrad in the kunker started at the Reder's Headquarters 503 Mayangkara Mojokerto, East Java, then at Brigif 06/Trisakti Balajaya Sukoharjo, after that, there were other units that would be directly observed.

According to Pangkostrad, the majority of Kostrad troops are prepared for combat even though they have territorial assistants within their command line. Kostrad also has the additional task of assisting the local government (Pemda) with security. "We also have to look at the gaps, so that soldiers can be professional in the military, as well as in providing security assistance to the local government," said Pangkostrad.

He said that there was a concept that was initiated by the TNI Commander and KSAD so that Kostrad would be more dominant in helping the welfare of the community.

Entering the 61st anniversary, his party wants to remind again that the motivation for people to join the army is to serve the country and nothing else. Devotion is shown by carrying out tasks and practicing.

The Pangkostrad wants the synergy between the TNI and Polri to increase.
