NTT - The Governor of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Viktor Bungtilu Laiskodat said there were three major challenges faced by the government in the development process in the area. The first is the problem of roads, the problem of stunting and population poverty.

"The three challenges are also a burden for the government in building a better NTT," said Governor Viktor Bungtilu Laiskodat when inaugurating clean water facilities in Oenoni II Village, Amarasi District, Kupang Regency, Antara, Wednesday, March 9.

According to Viktor, there is a culture in the community that likes to hinder development activities with various efforts so that repairs cannot be carried out properly.

Viktor hopes that the sub-district heads and village heads will be able to design quality communities so that they can become lessons for development progress, both in terms of roads, education, poverty and water issues.

The government, according to him, will continue to help gradually in accordance with the available budget to encourage accelerated development.

"If everything goes well, including human resources, then we will prepare the best generations in NTT to fill development well," he said.

He also hopes that the people of NTT can work diligently so that the government can help bring about change for the community.

Meanwhile, Kupang Regent Korinus Masneno thanked Governor Viktor Bungtilu Laiskodat because during his reign the roads from Bokong Village, Takari Subdistrict to Amfoang Subdistrict had been repaired.
