The Murder Of A Young Woman In Sawah Besar: The Suspect Thinks The Victim Has Feelings, Turns Out He's Still In A Relationship With His Ex-Girlfriend

JAKARTA - Deputy Head of Central Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Setyo Koes Heriyanto said the perpetrator MA and victim AW had known each other since 2 years ago.

The relationship between the victim AW and the suspect MA started when the victim broke up with her ex-lover, so the suspect often took the victim home and went to work.

"According to the suspect, the victim has the same feeling because every day the victim always wants to be taken to work and is picked up," said AKBP Setyo to VOI, Wednesday, March 9.

So, continued Setyo, the suspect thought the victim had the same feeling. So that the suspect finally revealed his heart to the victim not only once, but many times.

"The suspect repeatedly (expressed his heart) but the victim still doesn't give him a chance. Plus he feels jealous of the former victim, where the victim is still in constant communication with her ex. That's the motivation that caused the incident," he said.

The Supreme Court suspect was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code sub-Article 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code, Article 286 of the Criminal Code and Article 365 paragraph (3) with a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.

Previously, it was reported that a woman with the initials AW (19) was found dead with half-naked clothes in a 2-floor boarding room, on Jalan Mangga Besar, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta on Friday, March 4, afternoon.

AW died after being strangled by MA and then raped. The suspect was arrested at the postal security post, near his home in Tamansari, West Jakarta.
