Papuan KKB Massacre Victim Bebi Tabuni, Son Of Tribal Chief Abelom Tabuni Buried In Ilaga

JAYAPURA - Bebi Tabuni who became one of the victims of the massacre of the armed criminal group (KKB) against employees of PT. Palapa Timur Telematics (PTT) in Jenggeran village, interior of Beoga, Puncak Regency, Papua, was buried, Tuesday, March 8.

"It is true that the victim's body has now been buried in a cemetery on Jalan Moko, Ilambet Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency," said Kapendam XVII/Cenderawasih Colonel Inf. Aqsha Erlangga in Jayapura, as reported by Antara.

He explained that upon arrival at Aminggaru airport, Omikia District, the bodies were immediately taken to the Puncak Police Headquarters in Kimak Village, Ilaga District.

At the Puncak Police Headquarters, compensation was handed over from PT. PTT to the victim's family received by representatives of the victim's family.

"Previously, the body of Bebi Tabuni, who is the son of a large tribal chief in Puncak Regency, Abelom Tabuni, was flown from Timika using an aircraft belonging to SAS Aviation with flight number PK-FSE," explained Col. Inf Aqsha.

The bodies of eight workers of the East Palapa Telematics (PT.PTT) tower who were victims of the KKB massacre in Jenggeran Village, Beoga District, Puncak Regency, Papua, Tuesday, March 8 were flown to their respective areas for burial via Timika's Moses Kilangin airport.

The bodies were flown after being identified at the Mimika Regional Hospital, and released by carrying out a procession of respect for the bodies of eight PTT employees as a form of appreciation for the heroes of development in the Land of Papua.

The bodies of the eight victims were evacuated to Jakarta, five bodies each of Syaril Nurdiansyah and Eko Septiansyah were buried in Jakarta, Bili Galdi Balion's body was buried in Bandung, Ibo's body was buried in Subang and Jamaluddin's body was buried in Rangkas Bitung.

Then the body of Bona Simanulang was sent to Palu, Central Sulawesi, and the body of Renal Tagasye Pastii was flown to Ambon and the body of the late Bebi Tabuni was flown to Ilaga, Puncak Regency.

The massacre carried out by KKB on Wednesday, March 2 at the PT PTT employee camp who was repairing BTS3 located in Jenggeran village, on the border between Puncak Regency and Intan Jaya Regency.
