Waiting For Doni Salmanan's First Statement Who Always Silenced After The Quotex Case Appeared

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police continues to carry out investigative steps in cases of alleged fraud under the guise of Quotex binary options trading. In fact, Doni Salmanan alias Doni Muhamad Taufik as an affiliate of the platform will be questioned.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Grand Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, said that the examination of Crazy Rich Bandung was planned to take place today.

"It is planned that on Tuesday 8 March 2022 at 10.00 western Indonesia time, investigators will conduct an examination of DMT alias DS," said Gatot to reporters, Monday, March 7.

With this examination agenda, it is very likely that Doni Salmanan will issue a statement regarding the case involving him.

Because, during the course of this case, there has been no official statement from either Doni Salmanan or his legal team.

So far, Doni Salmanan has only had time to upload a sentence on his Instagram account. Where, he and his wife, Dinan Nurfajrina Salmanan both give encouragement.

From the screenshot, Doni Salmanan uploaded a screenshot of an incoming message from his wife.

Meanwhile, Doni Salmanan wrote a caption on his IG Story "I am your spirit, and you are my spirit," he said, pinning the love motto.

Whereas previously in Doni Salmanan's Instagram feed, Crazy Rich included the caption "I love you forever, we can skip all of this, Bismillah,".

Regarding the case handling process, so far investigators have examined 12 witnesses and experts. The latest witnesses are two payment gateway companies.

"Investigators have examined 2 payment gateway companies with 2 witnesses," said Gatot.

The status of the case involving Doni Salmanan is currently at the investigation stage. This is because investigators from the Directorate of Cyber Crime, Bareskrim Polri, assessed that there was a criminal violation in this case.

"The case has been held today, Friday, March 4, 2022, and it has been decided that the DS case has been raised from investigation to investigation," said Gatot.

With the increase in the status of this case, sooner or later the police will identify suspects. Currently, investigators are still gathering evidence and clues.

For information, Doni Salmanan was reported by someone with the initials RA. The report is registered with the LP number: B/0059/II/2022/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI.

In that report, Doni Salmanan was suspected of violating Article 27 paragraph (2) of Law number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law number 11 of 2008 regarding ITE. Then, Article 28 paragraph 1 of Law number 19 of 2016 concerning changes to Law number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE.

In addition, he is suspected of violating Article 378 of the Criminal Code and Article 55 of the Criminal Code and or Articles 3, 5, and 10 of the Republic of Indonesia Law number 8 of 2010 concerning the prevention of money laundering offenses.
