Head of Drug Research at the Central Lombok Police, Iptu Hizkia Siagian, said thousands of bottles of liquor allegedly being sold without a permit were confiscated from several hotels and cafes in the Kuta Mandalika area.

The liquor raid is part of an enhanced routine activity (KRYD) that will continue to be held, as an effort to create a conducive situation ahead of the Grand Prix Of Indonesia (MotoGP 2022) at the Mandalika Circuit.

As for the liquor sellers, currently they have been recorded and will later be questioned for selling liquor without a permit.
"Our seller gave a statement not to sell liquor without a permit," he said.
