Victim Suspected of Rape by Her Biological Father in Tangerang Regency 11 Weeks Pregnant

TANGERANG - Balaraja Police Chief, Commissioner of Police Heri Fitriyono revealed that the victim, YT (14) who was allegedly raped by her biological father, S in Balaraja, Tangerang Regency, was 11 weeks pregnant.

"Yes, it's true that she was 11 weeks pregnant from the doctor's calculation," said Heri when contacted by VOI.id, Friday, March 4.

Heri explained that the victim had been sexually assaulted by the perpetrator since 2021. He carried out heinous acts 3 to 4 times a week.

“So the intense relationship has happened since 8 months ago, 3-4 times a week. The last incident occurred on February 25, on a Saturday night," he said.

Based on the victim's statement, Heri explained that the alleged rape was discovered when the victim was playing at her sister's house in the Cisoka area, Tangerang Regency.

"She (the victim) told her sister. Then her sister didn't accept it, report it to us, to the police station," he said.

After receiving the report, the Criminal Investigation Team immediately arrested the alleged perpetrator. Then an inspection is carried out.

Based on the information received, continued Heri, the suspect was suspected of committing the action when he entered YT's room. He forced the victim to serve his lust.

"The perpetrator entered the room only wearing a sarong and a t-shirt," said Commissioner of Police Heri Fitriyono.

For his actions, the perpetrator is suspected of Article 81 of Law no. 17 of 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning child protection.
