Viral Truck Driver Persecuted In Cibubur, Police Immediately Act Fast

JAKARTA - A case of abuse against a truck driver occurred in Cibubur, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. This incident also went viral on social media.

The victim has already made a report regarding this case. The East Jakarta Metro Resort Police (Polres) immediately moved quickly to take action.

The Head of the East Jakarta Metro Police, Police Commissioner Budi Sartono said that his party had conducted an investigation.

"The victim has made a report at the Polsek and now an investigation is being carried out by the Polsek and Polres," said Budi, as quoted by Antara, Thursday, March 3.

So far, it is not clear what caused and when the assault occurred. Until now, the investigation process is still ongoing at the Pasar Rebo Sector Police (Polsek).

Previously, a video of the abuse of a truck driver went viral on social media. In the video, a burly man wearing a black shirt can be seen standing in front of the victim's truck.

When the victim got off the truck and approached the perpetrator, the victim was immediately abused until he was slammed to the ground. After falling, the victim continued to be abused by the perpetrator.

Local residents had time to prevent the perpetrator from continuing to persecute the victim. Then a man wearing a green striped uniform came to intervene between the two sides.
