JAKARTA - The TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa confirmed that the funds for operational support involving the TNI would be transferred directly to the accounts of each soldier on duty in the field.

"All operations that involve us, the support will be handed over to the TNI Headquarters, and directly channeled to the accounts of the soldiers on duty," said General Andika Perkasa through a monitored YouTube channel, in Jakarta, Tuesday, regarding the budget and the involvement of TNI elements in the Task Force ( National Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19, reported by Antara, Tuesday, March 1.

In a meeting between General Andika Perkasa and the Deputy for Emergency Management of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Major General Fajar Setyawan, the Commander in Chief received a detailed report on the support funds provided by BNPB to the TNI. Syafruddin so that there are no problems in the field, especially in terms of paying the rights of the soldiers who are on duty in handling COVID-19.

In addition, he added that individual support funds for soldiers on duty should not pass through the regional military command (kodam). This is the same as being applied to soldiers who are tasked with implementing community activity restrictions (PPKM) and vaccination attacks.
