Get Ready, Bareskrim Aims At Three Affiliates Apart From Indra Kenz

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police is targeting three affiliates based on the development of a suspected fraud case under the guise of binary options trading. The development is carried out by the Directorate of Cyber Crimes and Special Economic Crimes.

"(The one being investigated, red) is DS, yes," said the Director of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan to reporters, Tuesday, March 1.

The investigation was carried out by the Directorate of Cyber Crimes because the reporting party did not report it to the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes. However, Whisnu stated that cases of alleged fraud were still being processed properly and according to the rules.

"The victim reported there, so in Cyber, it's the same thing," said Whisnu.

On the other hand, Whisnu stated that the Binomo case handled by his party also led to two other affiliates besides Indra Kenz. However, until now the process is still in the stage of examining witnesses.

"I also have developments for other suspected affiliators, but we are still investigating the witnesses," said Whisnu.

"Yes, we may have 2 more, from the testimony of witnesses, yes," he continued.

Based on information, the two affiliates whose involvement is being investigated have the initials PS and EL.

Previously, the Bareskrim investigator turned out to be investigating the involvement of other affiliates in the Binomo case. It said there was one person suspected in the case.

"There is one (the affiliate is suspected to be involved, ed)," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan.

However, Ramadhan was reluctant to detail the identity of the affiliate. It is only emphasized that this matter will be conveyed the next day.

"What we will convey tomorrow will be conveyed by Dittipidsiber investigators," said Ramadhan.
