4 Car Accident Happens At Bitung Tangerang-Jakarta Toll Road

JAKARTA - There was a series of accidents involving four minibuses. The incident occurred allegedly due to the distance between adjacent vehicles.

Head of PJR Bitung Toll Road AKP Suwito said the incident occurred at KM16 from Bitung to Jakarta, Friday, February 25, at 22.30 WIB.

"It is suspected that it was due to a lack of distance (between vehicles). Maybe the brakes could not reduce speed, so they were hit by the rear of the car," said Suwito when confirmed, Saturday, February 26.

Even though there were a series of accidents, the incident did not cause a long traffic jam. Because, each driver chooses to continue the road.

"There is no (long traffic jam) yes. Because it's night, it means that in front you might brake, you can't reduce speed. There said an ambulance was 10 minutes to be called, chatted, they said they had their own insurance, so they continued on their way," he said. .

On the occasion, Suwito said that there were no casualties in the incident. Only minor damage to the victim's vehicles.

"Nothing, just the material and we understand each other about this incident, shake hands. 4 vehicles immediately continued the road," he said.
