JAKARTA - Around 50 beef sellers at Pasar Senen Block III, Central Jakarta, are still selling their wares even though prices continue to soar.

Even though the price of local beef is increasing, Suhaili still sells at prices that follow the standards at Pasar Senen.

"As of today, I sell local beef at a price of 125 thousand to 130 thousand per kilogram. Meanwhile, I sell imported beef at 110 to 115 thousand per kilogram," he said.

Suhaili said that at the Pasar Senen Block III beef stall, all of the traders selling were still there.

"It's still full of trade. Regarding price increases, there will definitely be complaints from consumers," he said.

Yamin also said that the beef traders in Pasar Senen Block III had no plans to strike.
