DEPOK - Mobile phone thief gang caught on CCTV camera. Based on the video recording, the perpetrator used a car and stopped at a restaurant on Jalan Raya Meruyung RT 01/01, Meruyung Village, Limo District, Depok. It turns out that this is not the first time this has happened.

The victim admitted that he had lost his cellphone six times. Jaelani, the owner of the shop, said that the perpetrator visited his restaurant at around 04.00 WIB. From the CCTV footage, the perpetrator did not use footwear or sandals when he got out of the car. After getting out of the car, the suspect entered the shop and took the employee's cellphone.

"An employee who was guarding the shophouse was washing vegetables in the back, coincided with the arrival of the perpetrator who got out of the car alone. He (the perpetrator) immediately went inside and took two cellphones that were charging on the table," said Jaelani to reporters. , Wednesday 23 February.

After taking the item he was after, the perpetrator immediately went to Parung Confused.

"This theft incident has often happened. Within a month, six cell phones have been lost," said Jaelani.

This man said that the characteristics of the perpetrator were tall, wearing a t-shirt while in action, and short jeans, hair in a ponytail, not wearing footwear.

"This theft case was not reported to the apparatus, it has been classified. However, it is hoped that the police can increase patrols," he said.

Separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cinere Police, Iptu Ronald, said that his party had not received a report regarding the theft report in Meruyung.

"There is no report yet, but members will investigate first," he said.
