JAKARTA - This is bad news for Dunkin' Donuts lovers. This American donut and coffee chain is closing all of its outlets in Singapore as of today, Wednesday 23 February.
"The health of our customers and our team is our top priority," Dunkin' Donuts said in a Facebook post late Tuesday.
They also did not explain when all of its shops would reopen. However, explained in his Facebook post, this closure could last about a week.
"All of our outlets in Singapore will be closed until further notice," he said.
"While we cannot suggest a reopening date at this time, we expect this disruption to last around a week," he added.
Customers with orders that have not been completed will be contacted with refund details, Dunkin' Donuts said.
The company did not disclose the reason for the temporary closure.
The US franchise launched its first store in Singapore at ION Orchard in 2009. Since then, the company has opened another 18 stores across the country at locations such as Ang Mo Kio Hub, Jewel Changi Airport, Harbourfront Center and Plaza Singapura.
