JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) invites the public to report other assets belonging to the inactive Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari and her husband, Hasan Aminuddin, who have been charged with money laundering (TPPU).

The invitation was conveyed so that the anti-corruption commission investigators immediately found out where the assets allegedly came from the bribes received by Puput and confiscated them.

"The resolution of this case requires the participation of the community. For that, those who know information regarding the alleged ownership of the assets of the suspects, please submit it to the KPK," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector Ali Fikri in a written statement quoted on Wednesday, February 23.

Ali said the public could report through the 198 call center or other official KPK channels.

Furthermore, he said that the KPK investigators were continuously trying to complete the evidence of the alleged money laundering act by Puput and Hasan. Most recently, the anti-corruption commission has even confiscated assets in the form of land and buildings worth IDR 50 billion.

"In the alleged ML case on behalf of PTS et al, so far the KPK investigation team has confiscated various land and buildings as well as other economic value assets with a total amount of around Rp. 50 billion," said Ali.
