AMBON - The body of the late Brigadier Mohamad Faisal Helut, a member of the Maluku Regional Police who was shot while on duty to deal with the Ori-Kariuw conflict, Haruku Island District, Central Maluku Regency, will be buried in the Happy Ambon Cemetery Park.

The Head of Public Relations of the Maluku Police, Kombes M. Roem Ohoirat, said the bodies would be flown from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to Ambon's Pattimura Airport, Tuesday, February 22, evening.

"The deceased's body will be buried in the funeral home, Clove Gardens, then buried in the Happy Ambon Park," said Roem in Ambon, as reported by Antara.

The ceremony for picking up the bodies of the deceased was carried out at Ambon's Pattimura Airport, after which, the bodies were taken to the funeral home in the Air Besar area, Clove Gardens, Sirimau District, Ambon City.

The funeral ceremony for the late Brigadier Faisal took place at the Happy Ambon Cemetery, led by the Deputy Head of the Maluku Regional Police Brigadier General Jan de Fretes as the ceremony inspector.

"The funeral ceremony will be held at the Happy Cemetery with the ceremonial inspector, Mr. Wakapolda Maluku," he added.

Happy Ambon Cemetery Park is the final resting place for TNI and Polri soldiers who died in the line of duty while still actively serving.
