National Data Center At IKN Encourages Digital-Based Government

The National Government encourages the presence of a National Data Center (PDN). As for 2022, it is planned that the construction of PDN will begin in the third or fourth quarter at four points including IKN Nusantara with the other three points being Batam, which is located in the Riau Archipelago, Bekasi in West Java, and Labuan Bajo is included in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Regarding its operations, the PDN prepared by the Ministry of Communication and Information is planned to start operating in 2023. In addition to an integrated data system for the Government at both national and regional levels, the presence of PDN will also allow more cities - cities in Indonesia become smart cities or smart city together with the government's efforts to provide a capable network at least 4G network on 3T and can increase 5G network coverage.
