DEPOK - A private TV journalist, Rudi was persecuted by a group of people on Jalan Aridho, Jatimulya, Cilodong, Depok, West Java in the early hours of Sunday, February 20, 2022.

Rudi said the incident began when he was about to return to his home in the Ambar complex, Cibonong, Bogor Regency. However, while crossing the Jatimulya area, he was suddenly attacked by a group of unknown people.

"So they're the convoy in front of me, blocking the road, suddenly at the bridge behind them they blocked the road, I couldn't pass, stopped suddenly the one behind me hit me. Bro why did you hit me? It suddenly hit," said Rudi based on a recording received by VOI.id, Sunday, February 20.

"Kick me, squeeze me with a motorbike, I can't do anything about it when I'm beaten," he continued.

To save himself, Rudi fled to the Griya Melati Mas (GMM) security post and tried to find help. Rud suspects that the perpetrators who beat him numbered eight people.

"Because of the outnumbered security, we can't do anything," he explained.

The new perpetrators stopped attacking him. After the local people left the house.

"I shouted at the residents when they came out, they panicked and fled," he said.

As a result of the assault, the victim suffered serious injuries to the head, hands and face. The case has been reported to the Depok Metro Police.
