DKI DPRD Highlights The Failure Of The Flats Program In The Thousand Islands

JAKARTA - Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD highlighted a number of failures in the implementation of the program for structuring and building flats (rusun) to meet the needs of residents in the Thousand Islands Regency.

"Therefore, we want SKPDs under Commission A so that there are problems to be discussed at the musrenbang, not to pass this through the RKPD (Regional Government Activity Plan)," said Secretary of Commission A of the DKI DPRD, Nasrullah in a written statement quoted by Antara, Saturday, February 19. .

Nasrullah admits that he is ready to voice his aspirations if there is no solution for structuring the Thousand Islands region through deliberation on development plans (Musrenbang).

According to Nasrullah, the problem of structuring the residential area needs a solution, because there are a number of obstacles in the implementation process.

"In the Thousand Islands, there were several that had not been implemented, such as the construction of the flats because the Thousand Islands Housing Sub-Department was abolished, previously wanting to build flats there," said Nasrullah.

Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands Regent Junaedi admitted that his party has now taken the initiative to take over the plan for the construction of the flats initiated by the Public Housing and Settlement Areas Service (PRKP) through the provision of a grand design.

"Hopefully this year the study can be carried out," he said.

For the initial step in making the intended grand design of the flats, said Junaedi, the Thousand Islands Regency Government has prepared several strategic locations designated as flat development areas.

"The location is on the roast island, outside the roast island and the densely populated islands in the Kelapa Island Village. I ask for support from Commission A so that they can also communicate this to Commission D for this Thousand Islands grand design study activity," said Junaedi.
