Cirebon City Government Prepares Budget For Centralized Isolation Places

CIREBON - The Cirebon City Government, West Java has prepared a budget to finance a centralized isolation place for COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms.

Cirebon City Regional Secretary Agus Mulyadi said the government had moved the budget for centralized self-isolation from unexpected expenditures (BTT) into expenditures for the Health Service (Dinkes) program.

"Technically, we have shifted the budget from BTT to the Department of Health program spending," Agus said, quoted by Antara, Friday, February 18.

If you have found a location that will be used for centralized isolation, he continued, the budget can be used immediately.

Currently, Agus said, the location for centralized isolation has not been confirmed, because they are still looking for a suitable one. There has been an offer, but asked for six months.

"There have been discussions but not sure. Yesterday someone asked for 6 months, but we asked for 3 months first," he said.

The budget needed for centralized isolation, Agus continued, is around Rp. 1 billion per month. Later, it will only be used for asymptomatic or mild symptomatic patients whose homes do not allow them to self-isolate.

Meanwhile, the hospital, Agus said, would only be used for COVID-19 patients with moderate, severe to critical symptoms.

"In addition, for the next six months, funds of around Rp. 2.6 billion have been allocated for tracing, testing, medicines, and vitamins. The funds are allocated at the Health Office," he said.
