Bareskrim Does Not Delay Indra Kenz's Examination Schedule Even Though He Is Still In Turkey

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Police stated that there was no delay in the investigation of Crazy Rich Medan's Indra Kenz in the alleged fraud case under the guise of Binomo binary options trading. Although, Indra Kenz is said to be in Turkey.

"There is no postponement of the examination," said Director of General Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Department Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan to VOI, Thursday, February 17.

This means that the examination of Indra Kenz, who is the reported person in the case, is still scheduled for Friday, February 18th.

However, when asked about the investigators' steps regarding the possibility of sending a second call, Whisnu was reluctant to comment further. Only stressed investigators will do a degree to determine the next steps.

"Later we will hold it (to determine the next step, ed)," said Whisnu.

Previously, Indra Kenz would ask Bareskrim to postpone the examination schedule. Indra Kenz reasoned that he was still abroad.

"Pak Indra Kenz is still abroad for treatment which has been scheduled long before the police call from the Criminal Investigation Department," said Indra Kenz's attorney, Wardaniman Larosa.

For that reason, Indra Kenz asked that the examination schedule be postponed until next week. This request will also be formally submitted to the investigative team.

"Our official letter will be sent today to the Criminal Investigation Unit," said Wardaniman.
