MEDAN - Gali Syahputra, the perpetrator of the abuse of his biological mother, was arrested by the Medan Polrestabes team.

The Head of Criminal Investigation at the Medan Polrestabes, Kompol M Firdaus, said the perpetrator was arrested at his grandmother's house, which is on Jalan William Iskandar/Pancing.

"From the results of the investigation, it was found that the perpetrator was on Jalan Wiliam Iskandar, precisely in Pancing, at his grandmother's house. The team immediately moved and secured the perpetrator and was taken to the Medan Polrestabes today, Wednesday, February 16," said Kompol Firdaus, Wednesday, February 16. .

Kompol Firdaus explained that the perpetrator abused his biological mother, Suryati, because she was emotional.

"The perpetrator's motive was emotional because he asked his mother for Rp. 20,000. But he didn't give it because he didn't have the money," he explained.

The abuse, continued Kompol Firdaus, is not the first time the perpetrator has committed against his mother. In the past month, the perpetrator has molested his mother 5 times.

"The results of the examination, the perpetrator has abused his mother 5 times in the last month," he explained.

The police, he said, had also examined the perpetrator's urine. As a result, the perpetrator was declared negative for using drugs.

For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with the Domestic Violence Law with a threat of 5 years in prison.
