JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-Department Office (Nakertrans-E) has temporarily suspended service activities because two of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.

The Nakertrans-E office was closed until Friday 18 February.

"Yes, it is true that two of our officers have tested positive for COVID-19. Currently, all activities at the office have been temporarily suspended," said Head of the Central Jakarta Nakertrans-E Sub-dept., Fidiyah Rokhim, Wednesday, February 16.

He further said that his employees who were exposed to COVID-19 were infected from where they lived. Currently they are undergoing self-isolation (Isoman) in their respective homes.

"Our employees who contracted COVID-19 came from families who were at home. We have asked Isoman now," he said.

With positive employees, currently the Jakpus Sub-dept. of Nakertrans-E is implementing a lockdown.

"For three days we will close the Central Jakarta Nakertrans-E Sub-Department office, this Friday we will reopen it," he said.

He said, during office closures, services would be conducted online. People who have a need are expected to send an email.
