Report If Anyone Violates PPKM In West Java

BANDUNG - The West Java Regional Police (Polda) urges the public to report if they know that there are parties who violate the rules for implementing restrictions on community activities (PPKM).

Dirsamapta Polda West Java Kombes Eko Wahyudi Krisgiono said information from the community was needed because the number of officers and officers was limited so they could not monitor everything.

"For the whole community, anyone who finds out, immediately reports if there is a violation. We must be eyes and ears to report anyone who violates and the authorities are ready to take action," said Eko in Bandung, West Java, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, February 15.

According to him, West Java Police personnel continue to increase surveillance patrols in the community to enforce PPKM provisions. In the West Java Regional Police, there are a number of areas that are included in PPKM level 3.

"We will increase and increase patrols to restaurants, cafes, malls, markets, tourist attractions, and places that have the potential to congregate, including other entertainment places that violate our policies," he said. Eko asked the public to make health protocols a necessity. so that it is hoped that the community will apply the health protocol not because of coercion or fear, but because of the awareness to protect themselves and the community from COVID-19.

"We ask the public to make health protocols a daily necessity, not because there are regulations, rules, because there are officers who are present to control them, because there are severe sanctions, we will be disciplined," said Eko.

Based on data from the Information and Coordination Center of West Java Province, there are currently 125,006 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in treatment after the addition of 14,058 new confirmed cases.
