Police Ambushed In Kranggan Bekasi, Back Slashed, Motorbike Taken Away

JAKARTA - Aiptu ES (41) a member of the National Police became a victim of a robbery when he was about to leave for work. The incident experienced by Aiptu ES occurred when he passed in front of a taxi stand, Jalan Raya Kranggan, Jatiraden Village, Jatisampurna, Bekasi City, Tuesday 15, at around 02.30 WIB.

The victim was about to leave for work from the Pondok Gede area, Bekasi. As a result of the incident, the victim suffered injuries from sharp weapons that were cut by the perpetrators of street crimes. Currently, the Bekasi City Metro Police is conducting an investigation into the incident.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi City Metro Police, Kompol Alexander Yurikho, also confirmed the incident of a police officer who was a victim of the robbery.

"It's true, (Police officers were ambushed)," said Commissioner Alexander Yurikho, confirmed by reporters, Tuesday, February 15.

However, Kompol Alexander has not been able to explain in detail the identity of the victim and the victim's unit.

However, according to him, the Bekasi City Metro Police and Jatisampurna Police are currently investigating the crime scene.

"TKP checks and processing are being carried out by joint personnel of PMJ, Bekasi Metro Police and Jatisampurna Police," he said.

While being contacted separately, the Head of Jatisampurna Police, Iptu Santri Dirga, said that the police are currently in the process of investigating the case. It also has not been able to provide more detailed information regarding the identity and unit of the victim.
