Angry, Family Of Murder Victim In Jambi Damages Perpetrator's House

BENGKULU - The family home of the alleged perpetrator of the murder and mutilation that occurred in Merangin Regency, Jambi Province, namely WB (35) in Kelam Tengah District, Kaur Regency, was damaged by the family of the victim at the hospital (17).

The head of Suka Rami II Village, Heri Kuspi, said the family of the victim at the hospital could not contain their emotions and damaged the family home of the alleged perpetrator.

"The families of the victims who came in about hundreds of people could not contain their emotions so that they damaged the family homes of the alleged perpetrators," said Heri in Bengkulu, Monday, February 14.

Fortunately, the house was empty, because the alleged perpetrator's wife and children had left the house after the murder.

The police/TNI and village officials have tried to calm the anger and emotions of the victim's family.

"After the murder, the family and the local village government along with the police immediately evacuated the alleged perpetrator's family," he said.

It is suspected that the house of the perpetrator and the victim is not too far away or about 350 meters, because the house of the perpetrator's family is on the border of the village.

Previously, the victim of the hospital was found dead as a result of being killed by the alleged perpetrator, WB. The victim went to Jambi Province three weeks ago to work in a coffee plantation area.

Not long after, the victim was found by the local community in a state of death, buried and covered in sacks.

The Regent of Kaur Regency, Lismidianto, expressed his condolences for the incident that happened to the victim and asked the victim's family to accept the incident sincerely.

"On behalf of the Kaur Regency Government, we express our deep condolences to the families of the victims and we hope that they will be able to endure the ordeal," he said.
