Names Of Survivors And Deaths In The Payangan Beach Tragedy

JEMBER - As many as 24 people from the Tunggal Jati Nusantara Group were swept away by the current on Payangan Beach, Jember Regency, East Java. The incident occurred when they held a ritual activity on the coast of the South Coast, Sunday, February 13, early in the morning.

The group arrived at Payangan Beach by riding an Elf mini bus and arrived at the south coast in Watu Ulo Hamlet, Sumberjo Village, Ambulu District on Saturday, February 12 evening.

Based on data compiled by the local police, the number of victims who died was 11 people, and 13 other people were declared safe.

Nuriya Fifa Kirana (2) a resident of Dukuhmencek Village, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency.6. Nurhasan (35) a resident of Dukuhmencek Village, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency.7. Feri (20) resident of Gladak Twins, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency.8. Bintang (19) resident of Gebang Village, Patrang District, Jember Regency.9. Eko (35) a resident of Gugut Village, Rambi Puji District, Jember Regency.10. Dani (21) a resident of Dukuhmencek Village, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency.11. Jumadi (35) a resident of Kemuningsari Lor Village, Panti District, Jember Regency.12. Suari (50) a resident of Karangwaru, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency.13. Muhammad Afif, who is the driver of the group, is a resident of Kemuningsari Lor Village, Panti District, Jember Regency.

Arisko (21) a resident of Dukuhmencek Village, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency.8. Musni (55) a resident of Sempusari Village, Kaliwates District, Jember Regency9. Febri (28) is a resident of Bondowoso Regency10. Yuli is a resident of Panti District, Jember Regency.11. Syaiful (40) is a resident of Krasak Village, Ajung District, Jember Regency.

Jember Police Chief AKBP Hery Purnomo said all the survivors were taken to the Ambulu Health Center for treatment because some of them were injured.

"A total of 13 people who were found safe are now undergoing treatment at the Ambulu Health Center and after their condition improves, we will ask for information," said Jember Police Chief AKBP Hery Purnomo, quoting Antara, Sunday, February 13.

Meanwhile, the 11 victims who were found dead were put in body bags and taken to the Ambulu Health Center for the identification process. After that, it will be handed over to the family.

Previously, the Solo Jati Nusantara Group group of 24 people, including a driver using an Elf minibus with Nopol DK-7526-VF left for Payangan Beach, Sumberejo Village, Ambulu District on Saturday, February 12, evening and arrived at the location in the early hours of Sunday morning.

They carried out a meditation ritual to calm themselves on the shores of Payangan Jember and suddenly the southern sea waves rolled in which caused the ritual participants to be dragged by the waves.
